HPD Architecture
HPD Architecture + Interiors, based in Dallas, Texas, specializes in residential design. Since its inception in 2008, the woman-owned firm has focused on new home design, renovations, remodels, and additions for private residences. Partners, Holly Hall and Laura Davis collaborate on each project with an eye for detail and personalized service for each client, bringing together architecture and interior design.

The pair have extensive experience in home design ranging from small bathroom and kitchen remodels to extensive additions to luxury residences. Holly and Laura approach each project from the inside out by understanding first how the homeowners and their families wish to live in their homes. They work together to combine architecture and interior design to reflect the needs, personality, lifestyle, and desired investment of the homeowner.

As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, Holly uses a universal design approach to creating living spaces that will nurture a family as long as they want to stay in their home.

Prospective buyers often see the shortcomings of a home before they see the possibilities.
For many Texas homeowners, exterior living areas have become extensions of indoor ones.
Outdoor spaces like patios are being used year-round rather than just during spring and summer.
As Davis says in the article, "It's about a place to come home to at the end of the day where people can dine with family and friends."
Davis, who specializes in interior design, observes that homeowners are choosing angular, clean-lined quasi-Scandinavian look in warmer - rather than cooler - shades of gray and beige.
There are four key elements of working with an architect.
When these are in balance, your dream home becomes a reality.
Let's talk about why we think each is important, and why we strive to incorporate them into every project we accept.
Bringing the entire project team together at the onset of the project allows important initial decisions about systems, materials, and design to be discussed with the entire team, thus capitalizing on the shared knowledge and expertise of all members.
If the project complexity requires, project leaders will draw upon a team of specialists, each with their own expertise and each delivering their own contribution to the project.
