Jim co-founded Aria Group Architects, Inc. in 1989.
As President and Senior Architect, he has maintained strong client contacts with most projects in the firm.
Jim is licensed in 42 states and is NCARB certified, so he is heavily involved in quality control.
The firm's concentration on hospitality has allowed Jim to lead the development of over 80 restaurant concepts for Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Inc., including Foodlife, Foodease, Bub City, Maggiano's, Corner Bakery and Wildfire.
He brings over 35 years of experience in hospitality projects, assisting entrepreneurs in developing new concepts or helping existing concepts refresh to stay competitive in this expanding market segment.

We strive to be the best for our clients and each other, thus we all work out of a very collaborative office located in Oak Park, IL.
Although we are one big team, we do have four working studios with 20-30 employees each, to maintain a smaller firm feel, set with large firm resources.
