RooTSDNA is an architecture firm based in South Florida. We design simple & joyful spaces of various scales that are more sustainable, produce less waste and provide optimal and quantifiable performance during their operation. At the urban level, we create buildings and spaces that celebrate public life with a strong focus on generating a collective identity and a sense of neighborhood.

With this vision, we intend to recalibrate the process of how we design, build and experience the built environment.
Services
As architects, we have a unique opportunity - to positively shape the human experience.
In every project, we look for ways to expand the architecture principles of form follows function to form follows joy.
Without joy, architecture becomes the result of technicians.
In our objective to create and shape experiences, our office was founded in 2008 by a group of architects who under the leadership of Claudio Salazar, have worked in various context and programs around the world.
Our experience has provided us with a clear understanding of the opportunities of physical and cultural context, and the different avenues to create value to both our clients and the neighborhoods we serve.
Frequently, building projects bring some uncertainties.
The early involvement of our consultants, specialists and construction partners helps us to radically reduce those uncertainties.
In addition, the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other design integration systems allow us to empower our clients with tools for more control over the evaluation of options at any stage of the design.
Our VR visualization and data analysis systems which respond to design changes in real time help owners in their decision-making process.
Our aim is to create beautiful environments rooted to their place.
While all of our projects are guided by aesthetics, economics and the environmental and social responsibilities, no particular "ism" can summarize our design approach, except perhaps optimism.
By looking at each project through the eyes of owners, occupants and neighbors (human, animal or vegetable) we approach every building with the responsibility and opportunity to improve the built environment and the lives of its inhabitants.
