Fujita + Netski Architecture, LLC is a small shop, full service architecture firm based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The practice is focused on residential design that is responsive to our unique island environments and individual client needs. Since 2010, Ryan Fujita and Chris Netski have been dedicated to contributing to the architectural fabric of The Hawaiian Islands.

Fujita + Netski Architecture has received numerous awards, including the 2020 AIA USGBC Sustainability Award, the 2016 AIA Honolulu People's Choice Award and Hawaii Home and Remodeling Magazine Editor's Choice award. We believe that architecture which is responsive to the individuality of every client and the specificity of each site has the opportunity to provide enrichment to both the individual and the community.

Utilizing a process driven team approach, we work with our clients to craft an appropriate design, attuned to their project goals. The Hawaiian environment allows for year-round connection to sun, trade winds, and microclimate conditions, from mauka to makai, and town to country.
Services
Sweeping vistas surround this hillside home, from mountain to sea.
The wrap-around lanais and large openings ensure that a view is not missed.
The form of the home alludes to the surrounding peaks, particularly the three peaks of Olomana which hold significance to the client.
The material and color palette tie the house to the mountains further, nestling harmoniously into the landscape.
This LEED Platinum Home was the winner in the Hawaii BuiltGreen Division - LEED Certified Residential.
It was certified to ENERGY STAR, EPA Indoor AirPLUS and LEED for Homes v4 Platinum.
The Hawaiian Lanai is a very special project.
An addition to an existing normative tract home, this lanai gives the home character and speaks to the clients' artistic and spiritual sensibilities.
The butterfly roof not only captures views up the mountainside garden, but also collects rainwater to sustain it.
Capturing an underutilized basement space and crafting an apartment that is truly a hidden gem, this project addresses the multifaceted personality of the client.
From quiet meditation and art production, to lively parties on the lanai, this apartment adapts.
All while allowing the upstairs, 'main house' to happily coexist.
The original home that occupied this prominent corner was no longer functioning for this growing family, which included extended Ohana members.
The shared spaces, of a large kitchen and living room can accommodate a crowd (the carport and garage also flex to host parties, in true, local style) and each of the three levels offer private quarters.
Structural wood details appear inside and out, giving this contemporary home warmth.
