Welcome to the Pennsylvania-Delaware Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects website!
The PA-DE ASLA Chapter was founded in 1959 to advocate for and serve members studying and practicing landscape architecture in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
The Chapter is comprised of over 581 members with 189 student members from four geographic Sections: Eastern PA, Central PA, Western PA and Delaware, and student members from six colleges.
This diverse group of members engages in public, private and academic practices that participate in the careful stewardship, wise planning and artful design of our cultural and natural environments.
In response to the recent deaths of numerous people of color and people who have been marginalized, and in support of national ASLA's public statements and partnership with the Black Landscape Architect Network (BlackLAN, ) the PA-DE ASLA Executive Committee discussed and considered ways to promote and amplify diversity and equity in all our Chapter efforts.
It is important that PA-DE ASLA take a stand on a behalf of all of its members and work to expand access and increase awareness about racism, inequity, and underrepresentation.
