Since 1956, BEHNKE has focused on strengthening Northeast Ohio communities. Behnke started on Shaker Square in 1956 as the firm of Behnke, Szunyog and Ness. In 1960 we transitioned to Behnke, Ness & Litten, stationed in University Circle, and then to Behnke Associates, Inc. in 1970, moving shortly thereafter to the Warehouse District. The Flats were our home from 2003-2017.
In 2013 we sharpened our brand as Behnke Landscape Architecture, and in 2018 we moved into our current office in the former Wagner Awning Company building in Tremont. Throughout our history, clients have returned to BEHNKE for our creativity within any budget, design excellence, and technical expertise.
