FOKUS on Architecture, Inc. was founded by Eckhard K. Fennig, AIA/RAS in 2004. Mr. Fennig draws upon extensive experience of practicing Architecture with firms in Chicago, Illinois, and El Paso, Texas since 1979, to provide his firm with a solid base of architectural knowledge and expertise.
FOKUS on Architecture, Inc. provides clients with a full range of architectural design and construction related services for projects of small to medium scope such as Site and Building Design, Space Planning, Interior Design, Project Management, Construction Documents, Specification Writing, Product Research, Construction Administration, Fast Track Construction, Feasibility Studies, Budget Establishment, Code Analysis, and ADA Review and Consulting and Research and Analysis on facilities in Code Compliance Feasibility and Life Safety.

In the State of Texas, a person may not perform a plan review or inspection function of the department unless the person is a Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS).
Since 2004 Eckhard K. Fennig, RAS No. 476 has provided TAS(ADA) plan reviews and construction inspections to local and statewide architects, building owners, managers, contractors, and public authorities, also numerous ADA related Assessment reports to municipalities, public and private facilities and churches.
Since then, two additional staff members, Cesar Gallegos and Ruth Garcia, have also become Texas State Certified Registered Accessibility Specialist (RASs), which makes our firm the most qualified Accessibility Specialist group, with three out of six RASs in West Texas.

Please note that TDLR may fine the Design Professional of record, if you do not submit your documents for TAS Review within 20 days of the "Issue" date, as defined on the form.

Do not submit preliminary drawings for budget pricing.
Please submit One Paper Copy AND One Digital Copy of the entire plan set at the time of submission.
