Brokaw Design worked with JL Modular of Santa Rosa providing architecture and electrical engineering to develop two Pre-Check modular designs, one 32 feet wide by 10 foot long units and the other 40 feet wide by 12 foot long units for approval by the Division of the State Architect.
These two designs are for modular units varying in size from 10 feet in length to 150 feet.
They include options for four different seismic zones, three roof slopes, three roofing systems, two HVAC systems, three siding materials.

Brokaw Design is the architect, structural engineer and electrical engineer of the renovation of this 7,300 square foot conversion from a Navy galley to a Community Recreation Center on the Naval Base at San Nicolas Island.
The center is the only food facility serving hundreds of military and civilian personnel on this isolated location.

Work for this project included renovation of the interior of the gymnasium to provide more space and a more modern interior for the space.
