Devlin Architecture, Inc., is a small architectural firm located in Springfield, Massachusetts, providing residential design, small scale commercial and institutional design throughout the Western Mass and Northern Connecticut area. William J. Devlin, AIA, combines his passion for the preservation of historic properties and his long- standing interest in sustainability and passive solar energy in much of his design work.

Known for his expertise in providing solutions for tight-site considerations and difficult roof line issues, Devlin is sought after by homeowners and builders who desire creative and efficient re-use of existing space and good value in each project.

William (Bill) Devlin received his Bachelors Degree in Architecture from the University of Detroit, Detroit, MI in 1972, graduating with honors.
He became a Registered Architect in Massachusetts in 1975, where he began his independent career after working in architectural firms throughout the Detroit and Massachusetts areas.
Bill worked on both residential projects and large scale commercial and industrial projects while in others' employ.
He also worked overseas for a year.
Throughout his career, Bill has had a deep interest in historic preservation, urban work, sustainability and solar energy.

We go over in some detail what you have and what you'd like to build.
