Construction Specialties was established in 1989. We were finish carpenters by trade and arched windows were just becoming an architectural feature that the fancy house builders wanted. The arches added glamour and distinction. No one locally was producing arched casings or jambs. Availability was limited to say the least.
After many attempts to try and make something on the job look half way decent and being less than successful at that, we developed a system of producing one-piece arched window casings and liners and Voila.Not only did they look amazing but our install time was cut way down. Soon sales reps for millwork houses in the area saw what we were doing and wanted it for their builders and contractors.
Thus Construction Specialties was born. Naturally we didn't stop there. Our product line grew to include radius base, chair, panel, shadow box and crown mouldings. We developed systems to make not only half rounds and eyebrow arches but also ovals, elipses and gothic curves. Always our focus was to bring an affordable product to the builder or contractor.
