Rick Walker graduated from N. C. State in 1974 and has been a licensed architect since 1983. Daniel Kirkley is a 2002 University of Maryland architectural graduate and became a licensed architect in 2021. Though we are located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, we have designed buildings from Florida to Canada and to the Midwest for several of our clients' out-of-state projects.

A key element of this project was to allow customers to experience the manufacturing process without requiring gowning.
Completed in 2016, an existing door manufacturing facility was renovated for the purpose of packaging fresh apples.
Along with creating a space for the packaging line, two refrigerated warehouses were also constructed inside of the existing facility.
This project was designed and constructed under the supervision of Rick Walker, AIA, CCS serving as Project Architect and Daniel Kirkley serving as Project Manager as owners of Althouse, Martin and Associates.
