Encompass' team of electrical engineers were able to work with partners Eitri Foundry, to design a suitable interconnection point between the 1.1 MW solar array and the local utility distribution lines.
The project which is forecasted to save the school over $1M over the project lifetime, was commissioned on time in May of 2020. Encompass Engineers worked with Eitri Foundry to implement an auto-reclosing feature at the system's point of interconnection that complies with local regulations and minimizes system downtime. Encompass worked with a group of local owners of a tiny microbrewery that gained popularity in the area to become a staple downtown restaurant and regional brewery known for fine craft beers.
Encompass worked with Findlay Brew the entire step of the way on their project and provided architectural, engineering and even services to assist with the brewing equipment design and layout.

Valfim manufactures plastic films and wraps globally and came to Encompass with a large scale project to build a manufacturing building for food grade plastics at their Findlay, Ohio facility.
We provided all A&E drawings and permitting documents as well as managed a large portion of the construction for the project.
In addition, Encompass designed and assisted with he upgrade of the plants 34.5 kV electrical distribution system that included integration of two (2) 1.5 MW wind turbines.
