For over 30 years, CBA Partnership Architects has implemented into practice our belief that the summation of our everyday buildings that we work, live and play in all combine to contribute a vital role in our quality of life. Much more so than the high profile projects which we occasionally visit. Accordingly, our portfolio of work largely focuses on producing creative and dynamic environments for both living and work, whether it be for new construction or the repositioning of older buildings for a new generation.
Some people you probably already know are happily enjoying spaces we've designed. For over thirty years we've been committed to servicing countless businesses throughout Southern California and, in doing so, we've created many long lasting, and very rewarding, relationships with our clients. We are proud to mention that our work comes to us almost exclusively through repeat business and referrals from satisfied clients.

Services
Since the firm's inception, in the late 1980's, we've been involved in a large variety of projects ranging in scale and scope.
We've carefully selected herein a few representative projects in the categories of residential, healthcare, institutional, and commercial architecture, both remodels as well as new construction, as a small sample of our portfolio.

Local 728, or Studio Electrical Lighting Technicians purchased a 5,000 square foot building that was originally designed for the Red Cross in the early 1960's.
The existing building was designed in pseudo Prairie Style Architecture having low horizontal lines and a somewhat residential style hipped roof.
Our clients requested that we reinforce the existing Prairie Architecture and incorporate energy efficient building components into the design.
The design incorporates: natural day lighting through skylights and a rain wall system; photovoltaic panels; high efficiency HVAC equipment; dual gazing and enhanced building envelope insulation.

A 25,000 square foot non-profit health care facility for the Motion Picture & Television Fund, whose purpose is to provide out-patient care to members of the movie Industry.
The facility is located on a relatively small site in Toluca Lake and required a Conditional Use Permit in order to achieve an additional 10,000 square feet of area beyond what was allowed by zoning.
In addition to the Health Care Clinic, other program requirements included: a Pharmacy; X-ray and processing room; Mammography; Laboratory; Special Procedures and two levels of subterranean parking.

New 2,800 SF home located just a few blocks away from the trendy Melrose Shopping District, in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles.
The project is nestled between Beverly Hills to the west, West Hollywood to the north, and the Fairfax District to the east.
Despite the structure's small footprint, we managed to give the home the overall feel of a larger space and expand the actual limits of the house by using large roll-away pocket doors that, when open, disappear into the walls, effectively blurring the limits between interior and exterior areas.
