A master bathroom and bedroom level laundry were added to a small Traditional 1930's brick house, which originally had only one bathroom.
To create privacy and light in the bathroom, a tall wall of windows was installed near the ceiling of the bathroom, under the simple shed roof.
The modern horizontal, floating, wood band-board on the exterior of the addition provides shade for the lower windows and is mirrored in the renovated facade on the front of the house.
