With active architecture and master planning projects throughout the western United States and Asia, architects Randy Shortridge and Jason Kersley founded the firm in 2013 and currently have a combined 50 years of experience locally, nationally and internationally in a wide variety of typologies. Confluence, a new mixed-use building in the truest sense near downtown Fort Collins, Colorado that includes [au]workshop's new office, residential condominiums, and retail/restaurant space in the center of the River District.

1500 Kapiolani Boulevard, an iconic and catalytic 400' mixed use tower in Honolulu that combines a four-star hotel, residences, and street-oriented retail in the podium while capitalizing on expansive views and maximizing open space on the site. Mandarin Oriental Honolulu Hotel and Residences, a 36-story tower across from the Honolulu Convention Center, which builds a lush, tropical experience and a distinct sense of place around the five-star hotel brand's world-renowned hospitality.
Services
Our office is located in Confluence at 401 Linden Street, Suite 221 (up the stairs in the courtyard).
If you're familiar with Fort Collins, we're just down the road from New Belgium, and across the street from Ginger and Baker.
We work on projects throughout the west and around the world, yet [au]workshop considers the city of Fort Collins our home base.
Near the northern extent of the Front Range Urban Corridor, the city combines a casual urban culture and outdoor life that belies its small (170,000) size.
We are proud to share that [au]workshop architect Anne Nelsen has received BizWest's Northern Colorado's 40 under Forty award!
Northern Colorado's 40 under Forty recognizes those who represent the best and brightest of emerging leaders that make a difference in their companies, industries, and the community; Anne has absolutely achieved this.
In addition to her role as Workshop Architect at our firm, Anne serves on the Fort Collins' Historic Preservation Commission and on the Housing Catalyst Development Committee.
