After receiving a Professional Degree in Architecture from the University of Washington in 1972.
Dymond Nicon became lead designer for a couple of Architectural Firms in the Seattle area.
In 1976, the Architectural Firm of Dymond Nicon & Associates, A.I.A. was established in Redmond, Washington.
As principle and lead designer of the firm, Dymond Nicon, provided services for a number of building types including single family residential design for both custom clients and local contractors, multifamily housing projects, retail and office buildings.

Recently it was published in the Northern Light that the proposed walkway would be terminated on either side of the Via Cafe.
One business in particular presents a challenge to the project design because it's on the west of the road.
The Via Birch Bay Cafe is located right where the beach berm would go, so as long as the structure is there, we're going to have to design around it.
Middleton said We're going to taper down the berm on either side of it to make sure that there's no impact to that business.

Nicon International was happy to provide design, assistance and support for the proposed Birch Bay Park and other community planning and design opportunities that might arise in the community that we both share.
This project is headed up by the Birch Bay Community Center and Beach Park Committee.
The Park consists of 4 acres, located on Birch Bay Drive, Birch Bay, WA.
The improvements consist of restroom facilities, recreational equipment rental, tourist center, community pavilion, outdoor amphitheater, and open areas for play, picnic areas and associated parking.
