Services
Landscape Technologies is a landscape architectural practice providing the following services:.
Landscape Technologies has, as an ultimate goal, aimed to provide quality planning and design services to shape the natural and built environment in functional and innovative ways.
This is especially true where quality of life issues are important, such as park planning and assisted care facilities.
These services are provided in a fair and consistent way.
We are not a practice that will rely on past achievements but consider each new project a beginning toward greater things to come.
Landscape Technologies designed this combination playground, picnic shelter and restroom facility at 178 acre Bella Fontaine Park in North St. Louis County, Missouri.
This area provides a relaxed spot for family picnics.
The rubber fall surface, designed to absorb the shock should a child fall from a play element, is placed at various depths depending on the height of each element.
Seating is provided for parental supervision and the nearby restroom facility serves the playground as well a the adjacent shelter.
Chesterfield Commons is the flagship retail center for THF, Realty, Inc.
One of the largest outdoor shopping centers in America an encompassing over two million square feet, its water features greet customers at four major entrances to the site.
The recipient of many "Beautification Awards" from the City of Chesterfield, the rear of the center serves as water retention areas surrounded by food plots for wildlife.
In addition, a "linear sculpture park" is being developed along Edison Road with the help of THF Realty.
A mix of three office buildings, a retail building and a Hilton Garden Inn makes this development a successful business environment.
Two beautiful lakes act as storm water detention ponds, attract wildlife and afford beautiful views from inside the buildings.
Patio areas at several of the office spaces offer outside lunchtime opportunities.
Native grasses are strategically placed outside to dissuade geese from nesting close to the buildings while views through the landscape remain so wildlife can thrive and be observed.
Manchester United Methodist Church selected Landscape Technologies to design a meditative garden and memorial wall and later, a columbarium in a secluded area on the northwest corner of the grounds.
The black granite circular memorial wall has a backdrop of evergreen shrubs and flowering trees.
A companion circular wall provides seating for the garden.
The adjacent columbarium repeats the circular patterns and black granite walls for a meditative garden.
Roses, fragrant shrubs and various perennials provide landscape interest in both spaces.
