The firm of David F. Plewa Architect was established in 1996 located in Downtown Toms River, New Jersey, Our practice offers diversified and comprehensive architectural design and consulting services tailored to each clients specific project requirements.

Our architectural firm has provided professional services on a broad range of residential, commercial and governmental projects located within the Central and Southern New Jersey area and prides itself on our reputation for innovative and sensible architecture of exceptional quality.Our ever expanding list of repeat clientele gives testament to our dedicated and personalized service provided to our clients through all phases of design and construction.

Our well equipped office uses the latest computer aided B.I.M. dynamic building modeling software, which provides improved 3D visualization of the completed project early in the design phase. B.I.M. (Building Information Modeling) allows for the building and its components, to be modeled and thoroughly analyzed, in order to provide cost effective, energy efficient designs which benefit the owner throughout the life span of the building.

Mr. Plewa has been licensed in the state of New Jersey as an Architect since 1994 and as a Professional Planner since 1997.
Mr. Plewa has over 22 years of experience in commercial, governmental and residential project design, development, and construction.
Mr. Plewa has testified in front of various planning and zoning boards for local and surrounding municipalities, both as an Architect and professional planner.
Mr. Plewa is recognized by the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders as a Handicap Advocate and provides consulting services for the implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
This project involved the total renovation and facelift of the existing Bishop Library.
This eighty year old landmark building in the downtown area was fully renovated into exhibit and lecture space.
Along with the upgrades of new energy efficient windows, new ADA accessible restroom facilities, and new synthetic slate roofing, the Architectural design remained sensitive to the historic nature of the building.
The Architect worked closely with the library staff during the programming and estimating phases and provided complete construction document and construction administration and close-out services.
