Patel Architecture Inc. was founded by Narendra Patel in 1985, in Rancho Mirage, California.
Patel received his Master's degree in Architecture from University of Toronto, Canada.

The focus of green design is for the project to work in harmony with the natural features and resources surrounding the site, and to use materials that are sustainably grown or recycled rather than new materials from non-renewable resources.

But the design did not fit the client's business strategy, so he scrapped it.
By collaborating with his own architect, he incurred an added short term expense to meet his long term goals.
The architect was chosen on the basis of previous financially successful projects for the client, as well as a proven record of designing visually stunning buildings.
The client and architect, as well as a structural engineer and landscape architect, made up the project team, and they consulted a commercial real estate agent for expertise on the needs and tastes of tenants within the target market.
But the design did not fit the client's business strategy, so he scrapped it.
