PLM Architect: Architecture + Design started in January of 2006.
As graduates from Virginia Tech's College of Architecture + Design, we still to this day lean on the educational foundation we gained from our studies at Virginia Tech.
In a world that is ever-changing, our profession must keep up with trends in design as well as construction.
We believe we do an excellent job by being versed in the current codes, having an inquisitive nature to be able to utilized new materials such as Structural Insulated Panels, (SIPs), as well as having extensive construction administration experience.

We have worked with PLM Architect on two projects and we have been very happy with both experiences.
In our first project, Patti helped plan and design a major renovation to our 110+ year old home, encompassing a complete redesign of the kitchen and 3 bathrooms, the addition of 2 dormers to convert the 3rd floor attic rooms to two fully functional bedrooms, and converting a 3 season room to an all season/multi workstation office.
As part of this project, we also fully gutted the 3rd floor, sprayed foam insulation and installed a 3 zone AC.
