Our portfolio is intentionally diverse, reflecting our ability to devise architectural solutions to complex challenges in ways both proven and unexpected. We are constantly working to create an office culture of well-being, fairness, and creativity that serves as a catalyst for innovation, transformation, balance, equity, and sustainability in everything we touch.
We are a spirited bunch that produces serious work. We seek out ventures that push our abilities as creative problem solvers and clients who embrace our mission to create impactful designs that challenge convention and engage the community to enrich lives and inform positive change. From the start, we committed to a collaborative design process, both internally as an office and with our clients.
This process enables us to draw on the strengths of our entire team and to respond distinctively to the unique demands of each project. Plus, it's more fun this way. In 2019 we doubled down on our team-oriented collaborative culture and became an Employee Owned Company.

Services
The design of Nashville Craft Distillery is an intentional expression of founder, Bruce Boeko's commitment to being local.
The design responds to the industrial character of the site while creating a light and welcoming space for daily samplings and tours of the distillery's processes and products.
The roof form and building signage was featured as a way to immediately help identify Nashville Craft as an early pioneer in Wedgewood Houston.
MZA designed the organic, carved shape of this new orthopedic and physical therapy facility to portray a sense of potential energy, much like a muscle flexing.
