The firm has been privileged with the opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects such as small residential additions to large public buildings and new construction. We work with our client to conceive, develop, and achieve their vision with inspired design and sensitivity to schedule and budget. We see ourselves as "General Practitioners" of architecture rather than specialists.
NBF Architects has been committed to the preservation of downtown businesses and buildings and has practiced in the same downtown location since the beginning days of the firm. We have been fortunate to participate in the revitalization of downtown Rutland and remain active in the community in our daily lives. We strive to be involved in projects that have a positive impact on our community and our Vermont way of life.

Every project is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients, whether it's a house for their family, a new building for their business, a school, library, or a town garage.
