Interstices Architecture provides commercial and residential architectural, planning, and interior design services. Established in 1990 in Long Beach, California, the firm has exhibited outstanding design skills through the completion of a wide range of award-winning projects, including modern, contemporary, mid-century, and historic preservation work.

Architect Jonathan Glasgow, AIA has been a registered architect in Illinois and California since 1986. Interstices Architecture has completed the design of hundreds of custom homes across the United States. Projects display varied work in many styles with an emphasis on the classical design principles of proportion, balance, contrast, scale, and context.

As a strong proponent of Historic Preservation and the Adaptive Reuse of older buildings, Interstices Architecture has transformed numerous award-winning residential and commercial projects, allowing under-utilized buildings to become thriving new icons. Through the design of various sizes and types of new offices, retail stores, galleries, health clubs, private schools, and business parks, Interstices Architecture has guided the construction of a wide range of progressive, unique, and creative commercial environments.
