John P Nelson Associates was established over 30 years ago and is located on the beautiful front range of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Since our founding we have built a history of innovative design within a wide range of architectural practices. We have experience with many specialized building types including restaurants, medical manufacturing facilities, veterinary hospitals and high end residential projects to name a few.
We enjoy a creative challenge and have appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with our clients on a variety of "one-of-a-kind" projects over the years. JPNA delivers a consistent high level of design for our clients on projects of all sizes. Design drawings and illustrations are prepared for each project to clearly communicate proposed design ideas.
Revisions are made until the client is satisfied with the proposed design for their project; this close involvement by the client continues through the working drawing phase and into the construction phase. As a firm JPNA does not promote a particular "office style, " instead, each project is shaped by the needs and requirements of the client and by specific factors including site features, views, energy concerns, sun orientation, context and budget to name a few.
