Flair Fountains, in Minneapolis, MN, is a fountain engineering/ design build company that has been in business since the 1950's. The founder, Walt Gustafson; who was a plumber by trade, a graduate of the University of Minnesota Engineering Department, and a graduate of the Harvard School of Fountain Design, integrated design concepts with plumbing theory creating simplified, efficient and beautiful fountains.
Walt guided the company through the initial trial stages of fountain design all the way to the well-rounded complete company we now are today. Since Walt's tenure Flair has continued to grow in both the projects we engage in and the size of our company. This growth is due to our great team of employees, John Bean our president, worked under Walt from 1991-1997 and took over the company in 1999.
John has carried on Walt's tradition of loyalty to our customers, offering high quality products and service, in an effort to completely satisfy our customers. Heading up our architectural pool fountains department is Matt Bean, our company's vice president, whom has been with Flair since 2003.

Waterwalls have become a very popular water feature in the building industry due to their asthetic nature, their functionality and their space efficiency.
Waterwalls operate by pumping water from the bottom reservoir to the top copper rainbar or weir discharging the water onto a chosen material, whether it be stainless steel, stone, glass or any other material, allowing it to flow down the face of that material and back into the lower reservoir.
