Headquartered in Sweden, it was important that Saab's presence in Washington, DC feel authentic to its international origins while embracing their American client base. Identifying the appropriate balance required input from Saab's Swedish and American teams.
Ultimately, differing viewpoints united with a combined desire for Saab's office, despite the location, to be a visual representation of their core values. As an established company, existing brand standards provided a strong design foundation while finishes provided ample opportunity to create a space that would feel familiar to international and local guests alike.
Blending cultural design sensibilities and integrating workplace standards translated into a straightforward space punctuated by powerful design statements that are genuine and without pretense. We view offices as blank design canvases. They are opportunities to visually explore your company's brand and tell your unique story.
