We design vital places to live, gather, collaborate and connect that support and encourage an environmentally restorative and culturally rich world. We design to integrate our work with nature toward a celebration of connection and stewardship. We design with curiosity and optimism to visualize and address the possibilities of now and the challenges and potential of the future.

We design to strengthen the fabric of families and communities by giving form and character to aspirations that reinforce a meaningful quality of life and connections between people and with nature. We design to discover the inherent spirit of place and interpret site and project constraints as design catalysts. The unique character of each project grows from this spirit and these seeds and takes meaningful form through spatial relationships, beautiful materials, crafted details, and light.

We design in a collaborative process with clients, consultants and builders that engenders an open and integrative exploration and a unified vision of solutions and innovations.
Services
This home is about environment: its connectedness to its site, its quality and natural building components built to last, its state-of-the-art climate control, and its small energy footprint.
This home is about community: its gathering and retreating spaces for family, its hospitality to the neighborhood, and its demonstration of better technologies.
The house is sited to create generous yet intimate outdoor spaces that celebrate the dramatic landscape and make place for living.
The modern forms of the house are punctuated with large openings and balconies and projecting roof eaves that mediate between interior and exterior.
For a small film production company in West Hollywood, a former loft is transformed into discreet rooms but the openness, light, and views are maintained through the alignment of openings, new walls of glass and wood, floor-to-ceiling tall doors, and skylights.
We are the Lark's architect overseeing the stewardship of this local, single screen movie theater which serves a non-profit community-serving film and cultural center.
Our involvement began with a major renovation that included preservation of the building's historic exterior; reconfiguring of the lobby, box office, concessions, and rest rooms; updating the seating and auditorium interior; and installation of digital projection equipment.
