With a growing enrollment and the addition of the 6th grade to Marsh Junior High School, replacing the modular multipurpose was an opportunity to create a true student center for this campus.
By excluding athletics from the program, the facility focused on gathering, dining and performance.
This allowed the space and the finishes to better address and respond to these uses, providing a smaller volume with warmer and friendlier materials.
A full-service kitchen supports the dining function and is supplemented with an exterior snack bar and covered patio, providing students with dining options.

As the sole school in Wilton, C.W. Dillard Elementary has maintained a significant role in the fabric of this rural community since its opening in 1915.
The previous facility, constructed in the 1950's, had become inefficient and reached the end of their useful life, requiring either significant modernization or replacement.
Through extensive analysis and strong community engagement, it was determined that a complete replacement on the existing campus would be the most appropriate solution.

The modernization of the 1937 C.K. McClatchy Theater and adjoining Visual and Performing Arts Classrooms was envisioned to elevate and rejuvenate student interest and participation in the arts.
The main theater was the focal point of the project.
While transforming this space into a modern performing arts theater, it was critical to honor and maintain the historic character and original design features.
Major improvements to sound systems, acoustics, rigging, and stage were incorporated while minimizing physical and visual impact.
