After graduating from WSU's School of Architecture in 1990, Darrin Filand had the privilege of mentoring under Jim McGranahan at McGranahan, Messenger and Associates in Tacoma. Jim's sharp business sense and rigorous work ethic were only surpassed by his innate ability to develop lasting friendships with his clients.
In 2016, Darrin founded fi architecture (pronounced f+eye) in Gig Harbor. Many of Jim's values influenced Darrin and the fi architecture team, and we value our clients as our friends.
