In 1992, Ralph established Mackin Architects, a firm composed of experienced professionals dedicated to quality design and craftsmanship.
This passion for architecture started during Ralph's childhood. He grew up in the rural areas of New York and New England. The diversity of architectural styles in those regions intrigued him, so he pursued his passion by majoring in architecture at Catholic University of America. After graduation, Ralph apprenticed with local architects, and worked for a residential contractor to better understand all the techniques of the trade.
As principal of the firm, Ralph is deeply involved in all aspects of each project. He has a hands-on approach and visits the construction sites regularly not only to supervise the development, but to touch base with his clients.
