Susan Secoy Jensen, aia, earned degrees of bachelor of science, and bachelor of architecture at kent state university (kent, ohio). She studied abroad in florence, Italy. She pursued her master of architecture at ucla (los angeles, California), which included study abroad in mexico city. She received degrees of master of architecture, and certification of urban policy and design.
Susan earned her architectural license in 1991 (c22263) and has been a member of the american institute of architects (aia) since 1994. She is NCARB certified. She also holds a m1 license, and airplane single engine pilot license. Susan established Secoy Architects, Inc. in 1996, and has received numerous design awards and publications of her work.
She served on, and was the chairperson for the city of orange design review committee for 4 years. She has participated as a member of the orange design collaborative, and lambda alpha international, executive board and board of directors. She acted as the consulting architect for the three arch bay association for 4 years in laguna beach, California.
