Lord Architecture Inc. (LAi) was founded in 1993 by R. Bennett Lord, Jr. to mainly serve institutional clients. The firm has completed scores of both public and private projects that include schools (K - 12 and university), religious facilities, health care, and commercial office projects, which reflect a balance of client needs and architectural design.

Katherine Lord joined the firm in 2008, bringing her extensive experience in design and management of a wide variety of projects that include master planning, facility assessment and feasibility study, modernization, additions and expansions, and new construction projects for public school districts in Southern California. By keeping the firm small, the Principals, supported by a talented and loyal staff, are able to work directly with owners as a highly efficient and knowledgeable team.

Because of this approach, LAi has maintained satisfied clients that have returned to complete multiple projects over the course of the firm's history.
