Ron Wilde grew up in western Pennsylvania, 45 minutes from Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater - a building that would forever change the trajectory of his life. Ron's infatuation with Wright and Fallingwater eventually led him to the School of Architecture at Tulane. While there, he was able to further pursue his passion for residential design during a year abroad program in Denmark, where he studied innovative housing and Danish Modern design at the University of Copenhagen and the Royal Academy of Art.

In 1976, Ron received his Master of Architecture degree with an emphasis on Residential Design. After graduation, he headed west and jumped at the chance to spend a few years with a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright in San Francisco, designing spectacular houses in and around the Bay Area. A move to Santa Barbara in 1980 found Ron working on a mix of commercial and residential projects with some of the area's top architects.

Five years later, he established a private practice focused exclusively on residential architecture, and since then Ron has dedicated himself to improving others' lives, one house at a time.
Services
I consider every house I design as a work of art, integrating proportion, balance, scale and harmony in ways that organize and enrich the lives of my clients.
By definition, every custom home is unique, but they all share a similar design process.
It begins by studying and understanding every aspect of a building's site, then creating a house that responds appropriately.
Licensed architects are not usually required for residential projects in most areas.
However, a good architect can increase the value and aesthetic appeal of your home and lower the risk of costly, unexpected problems during construction.
I offer the full menu of architectural services, including site analysis and planning.
Architectural designs begin with preliminary design sketches and evolve into dimensioned construction drawings that your builder can use to apply for the building permit.
Throughout construction, I represent the homeowner during job site visits.
